This project comprised the duplication and replacement of the existing sewerage system including 2 x pump stations, rising main, gravity mains, manholes and road reconstruction.
The project was situated either side of a rail corridor and a substantial component was situated within an operating golf course.

The project presented a vast array of challenges including re-designs to 80% of the works, ground water issues and underground latent conditions.
In particular the discovery of the unstable boulder retaining wall required a complete amendment to the construction methodology for these works and resulted in the project duration extending substantially.
However, due to the close management of these issues, and the up-to-date feedback provided to the Client, the project was delivered to the satisfaction of the Gold Coast City Council.
